That Idaho vacation became a turning point in the boys' recording career. A new country flavored album entitled "Idaho City", the product of fresh air and clean living, became their next blockbuster album. More importantly, a creative explosion of concept albums and side projects following the recording of Idaho City have established Steve and Glenn as the cutting edge of the cutting edge. "Basically there was life before, and life after Idaho City" muses songwriter Glenn. Life after Indeed.
The compilation of songs on Idaho City catapulted Steve and Glenn to huge successes. Shortly following Idaho city, they recorded Depravation Deprivation, an album exploring the dark side of human behaviour. The "Smoke Crack - Kill Whitey" single by TWGFC, The "Special Guest" album, "Idaho City" and "Depravation Deprivation" were finally released to the public in an extremely rare collection known as "The Box Set" on Potatoe records and tapes. Two more concept albums were recorded shortly thereafter, with no other creditation than "Idaho City Publishing", adding further to the mystery. The albums, "Bigamy and Bigotry", an investigation into race relations of the 90's, and "Git Funky with Glembo and Stebmo" - a funk/disco venture, are extreme departures from the norm. It is rumoured that yet another album entitled "You're Old" is also in writing. It is also rumoured that these guys are the masterminds of the multinational marketing firm Murray and Vinnie Incorporated (MVI-Inc.), and the creators / songwriters behind the phenomenal cartoon pop sensation "The Hollywoods". Idaho City publishing has permeated almost every facet of american life. Other bands and side projects include The Horses and England's The Bloody Wankers. They have also written music and performed for Mitch Richards & The Dicks and Johnny & The Strap-Ons, But what's next? No one knows. All of their projects are cloaked in layers of secrecy, but one thing is for sure, the next time you see something cool, or hear a catchy tune on the radio, remember, all roads lead to Idaho City!
